Elementary mathematics education program 4th grade student Kübra İler attended the 5th International Symposium on Turkish Computer and Mathematics Education (TÜRKBİLMAT-5) held in Alanya between 28-30 October 2021 to present her study under the advisor of Ağrı İbrahim Cecen University Education Faculty Member of Assist. Prof. Dr. Murat AKARSU. Our student, who is part of the "STEM Modules Development Research Team" established under the leadership of Mr. Akarsu, made the presentation of the STEM education approach modules they developed for primary school 8th grade students under the title of "Developing a STEM Module for Eight- grade Students Through Engineering Design Process: Pivot Irrigetion System". In the content of the abstract presentation, titles included such as 'Why STEM education approach?', 'Engineering Design Process (MTS)', 'Features of a Qualified STEM Education Approach Module', 'STEM teaching materials' and 'Pivot irrigation system module creation process' are given. In the symposium, where current information, experiences and approaches in the field of mathematics education and educational technologies were shared, the presentation process of Dr. Akarsu and our student was completed efficiently with the question-and-answer section, which took place actively due to the importance of the STEM education approach. Our student, who once again attended the TÜRKBİLMAT symposium and ICOME-2021 (International Conference on Mathematics Education) conference with a paper presentation, presented her third paper in her undergraduate life with this paper. At the same time, the work of Dr. Akarsu and student continues actively. We thank Dr. Murat Akarsu for his contributions to our student and wish him success in his studies.
