Internship is not mandatory in winter and summer holidays, as is the case in all teaching programs for the students of Elementary Mathematics Education Program. However, as a requirement of the program in order to gain professional experience, students go to applied courses in state and private schools. These are “EDU 200 Observation in Schools”, “EME 381 School Experience”, “EME 481 Teaching Practice I” and “EME 482 Teaching Practice II”. These practices are ensured in a balanced way in selected private education institutions such as TED Ankara College and public schools.
There is Erasmus + student mobility for students who want to do short-term internship abroad upon request.
