Gizem Güzeller attended the 4th International Symposium of Turkish Computer and Mathematics Education (TURCOMAT), which took place on 26-28 June 2019. She presented a paper with her colleagues İlkay Yıldızel and Nejla Öztürk titled “Third-, Fourth, and Fifth-Grade Students' Perseptions for Equal Sign” which is a part of BAP Project titled as "Third-, Fourth, and Fifth-Grade Students' Readiness in Early Algebra and The Impact of Early Algebra" directed by Dr. Işıl İşler Baykal.
