Mathematics Learning Centers Activity

Nearly 120 middle school students from 3 secondary schools attended the Mathematics Learning Centers Activity, which took place on Tuesday, May 14th. The students first toured TED University and willingly participated in the activities prepared by our mathematics teacher candidates. In the activities, it was aimed to teach or enhance the learning of various subjects such as transformational geometry, measuring length, area of a parallelogram from mathematics secondary school curriculum. For this purpose, some of our teacher candidates were inspired by games such as taboo and apartment sudoku, while others used reasoning and discovery methods. In this way, our teacher candidates had the opportunity to take a step forward towards becoming a teacher.
