Materials Development Project: “I'm Learning On-site”

Within the scope of the “I'm Learning On-Site” project, the pre-service teachers, who took the Material Development Course in Mathematics Education, worked in collaboration with mathematics teachers working at Çankaya Mimar Sinan Middle School for four weeks to design instructional materials that could be used in the classroom. The study, in which teachers supported and guided pre-service teachers at every stage from planning to classroom practice and evaluation, both contributed to the development of them in teaching, while at the same time contributing to the enrichment of the mathematics class at the school in terms of materials. It was evaluated that all the stakeholders were very productive in the study in which prospective teachers gained the opportunity of teaching experience in the classroom for the first time.
